Return and Exchange Policy

At Scopelux, we operate as an intermediary platform connecting sellers and buyers. We do not manufacture, store, or ship products displayed on the platform. Accordingly, the return, exchange, and refund policy is subject to the terms approved by the seller from whom the purchase was made, not by the platform.
By using the platform, you agree to comply with this policy and its associated terms.
First: Role of the Platform (Scopelux)
We operate as a technical intermediary only. Our role is limited to:

Providing the technical infrastructure to display products and facilitate the purchasing process.

Displaying each seller’s return policy as specified by them on the product page.

Facilitating the return request process through the platform interface.

Forwarding the return request to the seller for review and approval.

Processing the financial refund after receiving confirmation from the seller accepting the return.
We do not bear any responsibility for accepting or rejecting return requests. The final decision rests with the seller according to the policy they have announced.
Second: Seller Responsibility
Each seller on the Scopelux platform is committed to the following:

Clearly defining their return policy on each product page, including:

The allowed return period (e.g., 7 days, 14 days, 30 days).

Conditions for accepting returns (unused product, with original packaging, without breaking seals).

Cases where returns are not accepted (customized products, perfumes and cosmetics after opening, watches after removing seals).

Adhering to the policy they have announced when receiving return requests.
-
Responding to return requests within 3 business days from the date of submission.

Bearing the shipping costs for returns if the reason is a product defect or seller error.

Compensating the platform for any refunded amounts made to customers due to the seller’s violation of their policies or due to counterfeit or defective products.
Third: Buyer Rights and Return Procedures
3.1 Acceptable Return Cases
The buyer has the right to submit a return request in the following cases:

3.2 Non-Returnable Products
Returns are not accepted for the following products except in case of a clear manufacturing defect:

Products whose original packaging has been opened (especially perfumes, cosmetics, makeup).

Customized or made-to-order products (such as custom abayas).
-
Watches and jewelry after seals have been removed or after use.
-
Intimate products (underwear, swimwear) for health reasons.

Products that have exceeded the period specified by the seller.
3.3 Return Submission Procedures

Submit the request: Through the buyer’s account on the platform, within the period specified by the seller.

Provide evidence: Photos or video must be uploaded showing the reason for return (defect, damage, non-conformity).

Seller review: The request is forwarded to the seller for review within 3 business days.
-
Seller decision: Either accept the return with shipping instructions, or reject with reason stated.
-
Return and shipping: If accepted, the product is shipped to the address specified by the seller (at the expense of the responsible party according to the return case).

Inspection and refund: After the seller receives the product and confirms that conditions are met, the platform is notified to process the refund within 5-7 business days.
Fourth: Refund Mechanism

Refund method: Refunds are processed through the same payment method used by the customer at purchase.

Refund period: Within 5-7 business days from the date the seller accepts the return.

Deductions: In cases of change of mind, the original shipping fees and return shipping cost are deducted if applicable.

Amounts refunded from the seller: If an amount is refunded to a customer due to a defective or counterfeit product, the platform has the right to deduct the amount from the seller’s dues.
Fifth: Disputes and Conflict Resolution
In case of a dispute between the buyer and seller regarding a return request, the platform commits to the following:

Mediate to resolve the dispute through the support team.

Review evidence provided by both parties (photos, correspondence, announced return policy).

Make a binding decision in the following cases:

Proof that the product is counterfeit or fake.
-
Proof that the seller violated the announced return policy.
-
Seller’s failure to respond to the return request within 7 days.

If the platform makes a decision in favor of the buyer, the platform has the right to recover the amount from the seller or deduct it from their dues.
Sixth: Disclaimer (Platform Protection)
Under this policy, and to the maximum extent permitted by Saudi regulations:

Scopelux is an intermediary platform only, and does not bear any responsibility for the quality, safety, accuracy, or legality of any displayed product.

The final decision on return and exchange requests rests with the seller according to the policy they have announced.

Our financial liability for any claim does not exceed the total commission we received from the disputed transaction.

We do not bear any responsibility for any indirect damages or loss of profits or any punitive compensation arising from use of the platform.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate the account of any seller proven to have violated their announced return policy or involved in selling counterfeit products
